Palliative Care
Palliative care is a specialized medical care approach that aims to provide relief from symptoms and stress associated with serious illnesses. It focuses on improving the quality of life for patients and their families through pain management, psychological and social support, and spiritual care. Palliative care can be given at any stage of an illness, regardless of whether or not it is curable.
Palliative care is as much about obeying the wishes and ensuring the physical comfort of the person needing care as it is about offering support to their family and friends. Palliative care should start as soon as it’s required, and can last as little as a number of days, or for a number of years. Discuss your needs with a Carrus Care Specialist to begin receiving care as soon as possible.
